The Pageant
The Miss Samoa NZ Pageant is a prestigious Pasifika event held in Auckland, New Zealand annually. The pageant is committed to preserving, recognising and endorsing the Samoan culture and its fundamental values.
The pageant is an avenue to inspire young Samoan/Pacific women in achieving personal excellence and aspirations. We work in partnership with the Samoan/Pacific community of New Zealand in achieving positive outcomes; in which standards of professionalism and integrity underpin our every action.
The Miss Samoa NZ Pageant celebrates 20 years, a milestone that will be celebrated on Saturday 2nd July at the Telstra Clear Pacific Events Centre – Sir Woolf Fisher Arena in Manukau City.
"I have been involved with the Miss Samoa NZ Pageant for 16 years; this is my debut as Director. I am humbled and ebullient about this year's pageant. We will be showcasing the richness of our Samoan culture in New Zealand from entertainment to our beautiful contestants vying for the Miss Samoa NZ 2011-2012 title. See you there!'
